So I am an Exhibitor now ;-)

I am not very much into contests, less because I don't believe in the system, the rules they follow, that I am afraid of failures, and that I am running my own race with just me in there, but more because I never find anything in my archive which I'd feel can make everyone happy. I' click what makes me happy. and I shall be doing that always. as I believe in a critic best, and that is me.

But its always great to be the part of community, not only because you get the recognition right there, but also because participation is the key to learning, and is the best way to encourage and create art. so though I'd be on many solo trips in future, like I had always been, I'm sure looking forward to get out of my house,  socialize a bit more, and do some collaborative projects with some like-minded people. one of the such project is "Open Show" which I am co-producing with Madhu Reddy and Roy Sinai. fortunately we got great response in our launch event and 2nd the 3rd edition of bangalore are already marked in the Calendar. PCA Womanhood Exhibition was a great way to know Ahmedabad and its people and meeting 'em virtually. Glad to know the exhibition was a grand success. Thanks to PCA for  making me a part of the gala and providing me an opportunity showcase some of my work, amongst 26 Talented Girls from all over India and abroad. honored I am. This being my first, and 'all women' event, will stay special in my memories for a long time to come.

With the couple of photos and few articles also published, These past 2-3 months have been pretty productive to say the least. Though there is tons of stuff lying half cooked in my plate, and I haven't been able to shoot much. I haven't been able to write much either, this page has been dormant mostly. But I am hoping the second half of the year would be quite eventful in-terms of travel and travel photography which is my most favorite of all kind. 

This March 22nd/23rd marks two years with my first an only DSLR Canon 450D as well. guess time to get another body soon. :P meanwhile my kitty has grown a little more with Tokina 100mm and Raynox 250's arrival. looking forward for lots of portraits, macros, micros in the future. :)
