Hugin & few Panoramas

I brought a Macbook in April, my very first apple product, which I do love a lot, despite of it turning off-white, its skin from the bottom coming out at one corner, and the charger getting extra hot sometimes. That might also prove that I am not a very good keeper :-/ So with the mac OS the hunt for the software had also begin and as I had expected I found very few softwares (free of course) for my daily routine stuff when compared to windows, for example,

I am still looking out for a free s/w to retrieve my photographs from a 16GB SD card which I formatted accidentally.

The Second in the series was the stitching software I had been looking for. Though its almost one year since I am photographing ONnOFF but I have never shot a panorama earlier, never tried the grid option and nor searched for a stitching s/w. so you can say, I was pretty happy with my Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 UWA lens.

In June-July when I was in Ladakh, I seriously took few hand-held and tripod shots and then I was looking out for a mac based stitching software to help me out.. and I found Hugin.

I am yet to learn the whole entire of the possibilities, but for the lame work, this looks pretty good, with my only problem that it does not stitch a RAW file (if at all any software does that, I don't know) so one has to put up few JPEG files and create a Pano Image, either JPEG, or TIFF, the latter you can work on PS better. There are two plug-ins (which are used to define the control points in the images ) I found on the same site itself which you can install and it does work well after that..!!! But as I said, If anyone as better solution, do let me know as well..!!

few more panoromas I stitched with Hugin with min 4 to 15 images.....
